Jen is a startup advisor and corporate attorney specializing in M&A, financing and commercial transactions.  From her experience working in both large law firm and in-house settings in the US and Asia, she brings a wealth of international legal experience and cultural knowledge to facilitate cross-border transactions as well as domestic deals with diverse parties.

Prior to founding Better Together Law, Jen was a partner at a boutique law firm in Los Angeles where she led the firm’s startup work and transactional practice.  She was previously with Faegre Drinker (formerly Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP) in its Chicago office, at Kim & Chang in Seoul, Korea and in-house at Reckitt Benckiser (known for consumer brands such as Lysol, Mucinex, Enfamil, and Air Wick) for its North America, Japan and Korea businesses.

Outside of her law practice, Jen currently serves as a board member and chair of the Mentorship Committee of the Korean American Bar Association of Southern California (KABA SoCal).

Jen grew up spending time in the US, South Korea, and the Philippines, and speaks English and Korean fluently.  Jen is also a certified life coach.  She is an avid skier and is the happiest on the slopes. She has an insatiable appetite for travel and a keen eye for creating beautiful surroundings.
